Nigel Anderson

Ever since I was 8 years old I have always wanted to play Bass Trombone - which obviously explains why I spent the next thirty years on trumpet, first at the Guildhall School of Music and then as principle trumpet of the Royal Yeomanry military band based in London's West End - my sister being given the enviable task of being the trombonist in the family band!!!!! Now I've grown up however (although I suspect many of my band colleagues might disagree with that statement) I decided that it was time to move on to playing the instrument I had always dreamed of blowing - my neighbours are extremely pleased with my choice (with very enthusiastic banging along on the wall when I practice). I have certainly found a new home in the horn section of the PBB.
