A Classical Wind Quartet

Weddings, Parties, Special Occasions-add sophistication to your event…….

"I just wanted to thank you for providing the amazing musical backdrop to my Niece’s big day in December last year.  It was wonderful to have a classical quartet playing traditionally romantic wedding song as she walked down the aisle and during the signing of the register; and then to have you play her favourite modern tunes after the service while she and her brand new husband mingled with my guests.  Everybody at the wedding was so complimentary about the quartet and it really did bring a touch of class to the whole event.  You and the other members of your quartet really did contribute to making her wedding day special – thank you so much."

il Quartetto is a classical quartet comprising 2 flutes, clarinet and bass clarinet. The quartet plays a variety of predominantly classical pieces but also some covers of more modern music such as the Carpenters and Adele. We formed last year after being asked to play for “Red for Ruby” a charity day organised by Greenwich University raising funds for a youngster with cancer. Since then our gigs have ranged from a VIP launch for Beer Affects in Gravesend to an Italian Gourmet evening at a local pub. We cover all the traditional pieces for weddings such as Pavanne, the Wedding March, Arrival of the Queen of Sheeba and more.We would be happy to discuss your individual needs for a variety of events including weddings, drinks parties, press launches and more.

The University is an important part of the Medway community. We were pleased to be able to play an active role fundraising in support of Ruby Young and The Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance UK (NCCA). Local business also came to support including Beverley Prankard (Flute), James Harrison (Flute), Jackie Wright (Bass Clarinet) & John Ellmer (Clarinet) who kindly offered their support to this event by playing a wide spectrum of pieces which enthralled the participants ”
