The Peninsula Big band is a 15 piece traditional big band formed in 2007 with a blend of professional and experienced regular players who all love the big band style. We have played at weddings, dinner dances, festivals and charity fund raisers.
We can tailor our music to suit your needs having done both 30’s and 40’s evenings, and more modern dances. We have an extensive library including music from the great band leaders such as Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Count Basie to arrangements of more modern music such as the Beatles, Sade, Michael Jackson and The Average white band. So should you wish to create a classic dance hall evening with waltzes, foxtrots, tangos and cha-chas or add the feel good factor of big band music to your social event the Peninsula Big Band is just what you are looking for.
